A few months ago I blog posted and announced to everyone that I was picked as a plus size model for a brand here in the Philippines named Erzullie.
Truly, it was a life changing experience because it fueled my desire to become a plus model even more and I learned a lot about myself in a good way both my strengths and weaknesses. Many people think that modeling is easy and the only thing that is involved is looking pretty in front of a camera nor just walk on the runway; this is a false perception. Modeling is a form of art. A good plus model has to know and accept her body and curves, know what angles work for her to show off the garment and must be able to connect with the photographer and the audience. I am a work in progress but I am pleased to work with great people.
Furthermore, our shared insights, laughter and the friendships we built created an unforgettable moments.
If you really want to pursue your dream to become a plus size model, well
do it! We live in an amazing, changing world where women and men of all sizes and ethnicities are showcased–it’s not just about one look anymore.In Europe and US, plus girls have been working and recognized much more than they have here in Asian countries. I say, it’s about time!

Here's my tip for the interested applicants:
You’re more likely to get noticed if you keep it simple yet unique during your interview.
Remember, modeling is not acting–it’s your job to make the clothes look good, not to be the star of the show.
Be yourself and stay professional but be charismatic!
The client will remember the girl who is on time, looks well rested, and has a great laugh and smile.

2. Do High Fashion poses and cooperate in a professional photo/commercial shoot environment as well as possible runway or media heavy events
3. Represent and embody the brand's cause --- plus size empowerment through self-love
